it contains magnesiumsulphate. magnesium is a central part in the plants making of chlorophyl, chili plants uses a lot of magnesium, therefore its good to add extra. the result can be seen very fast - the leaves gets greener.
Theres different dosage and application methods, i do it like this: 1tsp/quart used as a foliar fertilizer, once a week on the leaves, especially on the undersides of the leaves, starting when the buds are starting to show.
i got a few sample bags of those you mentioned + foxfarm's cha ching, with a bunch of other sample products and hydro magazines really cheap on ebay. i wouldnt have bought any of those tri-pack nutrients from foxfarm if i didnt get them really really cheap, they are overpriced and nothing...
I dont pinch flowers. I prune the plant until i want it to flower. I make a cut on the main stem, pruning either one or two nodes. Making the plant bushier - starting to make new growth from the nodes, and from the top of the plant.

Very nice setup, monster-growth, hydroponics seems like the way to go. Im starting with dripfeed hydro next time around, im a little nervous it will be complicated with the EC/pH controlling :)
Very nice looking harvest! Those chocolate fataliis looking very interesting. Are they the same as the standard fatalii except the color? Would be nice to trade some seeds with you later on if youd like. :)
