    pests Pest ID

My vine crops are getting hit by squash vine borers as well. Sevin seems like a necessary evil at this point to combat all these malicious critters.

    Duston 2015 Glog

Paul, Thanks man! My dutch bucket system is a DIY setup that is mostly lifted from mhpgardener's YouTube video here. Jeff H on THP gave me some great advice as well. Here's a thread I found of Jeff's that was helpful. So credit where credit is due.    I made some tweaks due to space constraints...

Wow Ignite! My wife looked over at my laptop as I was looking at this post and said "Damn! What type of peppers are those?" I'm gonna have to beg, borrow or steal to get me some of Cappy's seeds for next year lol. Kudos to both of you guys.

    Duston 2015 Glog

So I have busted my ass in the last week or so. The dutch bucket hydro peppers were getting so tall that they were growing into the ceiling of the greenhouse. So we tore down the greenhouse. Redesigned the layout and spacing of the DBH. Setup the plumbing for the DBH. Noticed the 5 gallon...

    Mislabeled jalapeno or leaf issue?

The more I look a pictures of Fish Pepper plants the more I think it's a Fish that got mislabeled as a Jalapeno. I did intent to grow a Fish and had another plant that was labeled "Fish". LOL now I guess we'll see what that one turns out to be... SMH

Thanks CSB! Sucks to hear your girls got sun burned. I'm sure they'll be fine. A lot of mine were somewhat root bound because of garden prep delays and weather delays. In the end it was probably a good thing I got delayed because my neighbor lost a bunch of plants due to a few late cold nights.

    Mislabeled jalapeno or leaf issue?

True. 2 days after hardening off my soil plants my area got hit with a tornado warning LOL. Nothing touched down but my girls are definitely taking their lumps. I'm hoping that June brings more hospitable weather but you never know... it's Ohio. :-)

    Mislabeled jalapeno or leaf issue?

Yea we've been having the same type of weather here in Ohio, moruga welder. It seems to be the only Jal that is acting like that so I wasn't sure what to think... Although, come to think of it, the leafs were showing the whitest coloring when they were young and still inside. So I am leaning...

    Mislabeled jalapeno or leaf issue?

So I'm not sure what to think of this plant       For a while I assumed it was the Fish Pepper but the label says otherwise. It's not outside the realm of possibility that it was mislabeled. What do you guys think? Mislabeled jalapeno that is actually a Fish or jalapeno with an issue?
