yield Increasing yield with food flavour enhancer. Anyone has experience with this?

Below are links to two different tests where someone tried fertilizing their plants with redbull. https://prezi.com/rvr1xyvjotqf/red-bull-plant/ http://mihsbiology.wikispaces.com/file/view/JSiwiecki12.pdf   in both situations, the control plants (i.e the ones that were NOT given redbull) did...

How do you know good pepper pot compost?

Just some info not really directly related to the situation, but anyway :) "normal" composting takes much longer and does not kill bad organisms, disease etc like hot composting does.   hot composting happens when you mix similar amounts of dry/brown stuff (dry leaves in my case), with similar...

How do you know good pepper pot compost?

should be OK id think..just dont go too higher compost to potting mix ratio till your sure things are ok.   I often rake up dry brown leaves from around my property, then mix it about half and half with green grass clippings...add water and you have hot compost. :onfire:  I also throw crab...

yield Increasing yield with food flavour enhancer. Anyone has experience with this?

ahhh lol my comment, said in jest, suggested a foliar spray application of petrol. I decided there was no need to drag the thread down even if I thought spraying red bull onto plants was not something I would be into.

    media Using fertilizer pellets

depends how big your pot is :) a teaspoon or so sprinkled on the top of the soil in a 10L pot/ bucket would, IMO, be about right. would do that every month or so /when you can no longer see the previous stuff you applied.

    Carolina Reaper Plant Issue..

around 6.5 is the best you could hope for.  Soil is usually naturally slightly acidic. The problem comes after time and continued watering of media in a confined space (pot) with high PH water. The soil will buffer it for awhile, but the additives that are added to the water to raise the...

    Carolina Reaper Plant Issue..

Ok yes your correct on a minor technicality, you got me there, N is not a mineral.. Its not organic either though.  The point remains the same though that the nutes that the plant consumes are not organic.    Would be interested to see any info relating to these other "organic molecules" which...

    Confirmation of Ghost Peppers

Ghost pepper / bhut jolokia is a landrace type pepper which grows wild in parts of india. Ghost pepper is actually thought to be an inter species hybrid between some unknown peppers. i guess its possible there is some habanero in there somewhere but it came about by itself. probably not...

    Carolina Reaper Plant Issue..

because technically, any fert (the actual N.P.K in it) is a mineral, therefore its not possible for it to be "organic"   organic = plant / animal matter. Ok you can get ferts made from organic materials, but the nutes themselves (N.P.K.) etc can never be "organic" as they are a mineral...

    Carolina Reaper Plant Issue..

you can use citric acid to lower the ph of your water, which looks like sugar but is very sour. its cheap, you can get it at the grocery store & can also buy in bulk from some places. I got a kg or 2 of it it a couple years back, cost maybe $10?  I still 99% of it after all this time. half a...

    Carolina Reaper Plant Issue..

You cant fix the current leaves that are crinkled. They will never recover. You say you had no luck, however your trying to fix what cant be fixed, which is only leading to more issues.  (over feeding)   You can only look to have the new growth growing properly / not distorted which takes time...
