Mitzi's 2019 - Grow, grow, grow your Bhut

Apologies for cross post as I have also put this on the Harvest thread.  This is what I picked on Sunday.       SB MoA in centre.  Clockwise from top: PDN x SB7J (the small peachy orange pods), Brazilian Ghost, Nebru 7, Matthew Arthur SB (possibly x), Bahamian Goat, White (not) BBG7, Nagabrain...

Finally I have something to contribute!     SB MoA in centre.  Clockwise from top: PDN x SB7J (the small peachy orange pods), Brazilian Ghost, Nebru 7, Matthew Arthur SB (possibly x), Bahamian Goat, White (not) BBG7, Nagabrain Chocolate, Dorset Naga.   Most of these are from overwintered...

What are the middle (peachy coloured) ones?  Is it a Sugar Rush Peach variant?

I know you're all going to reply saying "pictures", but...   My plant that is indoors has only set a couple of pods.  They look quite similar to ones I've seen pictured on here - sort of oval, smooth.   The outdoor plant had several flowers open, shrivel up a few days later but not drop off.  So...

I'm in and starting with Reapers and Cayenne

The Reaper leaves look quite promising (i.e. it could be a proper Reaper.)  Exciting stuff!

Mitzi's 2019 - Grow, grow, grow your Bhut

Visited the greenhouse last night to feed & water - first time in over a week.  The first (only) pod on the Dorset Naga had ripened but probably prematurely as something had got at it - there's a big hole in the tip.  No more pods set although there are a few flowers.  We've got a heatwave here...

    Adams London grow

Wow, they look really good.  Most things can be kept small on a windowsill if you need to.  How hot are you wanting?  In previous years I have grown Superchilli and Chenzo which are both quite small, compact and neat but very productive.  The peppers don't have any great complexity of flavour to...

Wonderful!  How many plants do you have to get a crop like that?  And what do you do with them all?

I picked my first harvest of the season last weekend - but forgot to photograph it.  D'uh!   Loving seeing everyone's photos - making me well jell.         Which are the Baha Goat?  None of them look like it to me, but I'm not an expert.

Mitzi's 2019 - Grow, grow, grow your Bhut

Here's the good news:   The at-death's-door Chupetinho looks as if it is starting to produce some new growth from low down on the main stem.  The roots don't look too rotten.  Whether it's too late in the year for it to do much remains to be seen but at least it's showing willing.   First few...

Mitzi's 2019 - Grow, grow, grow your Bhut

Most of the plants do look quite a lot happier now the weather has warmed up a bit.  Some are still looking yellow and sickly - and that's plants that are outside in their final pots; I'm not talking about the ones still in tiny pots.  I keep wondering if the compost is OK, but I'm mostly using...

    Chilli Seeds In The UK

Welcome - from a fellow West Yorkie. (I live near Emley Moor mast.) I can send you some Nagabrain Chocolate seeds if you want and also some unknown variety which I think is a Moruga Scorpion. Premier Seeds Direct is the only eBay/Amazon seller I would trust. Havent used them myself but they...

Mitzi's 2019 - Grow, grow, grow your Bhut

Yes, the Nebru 7 pods are really big this year although it hasnt set any more since going outside so Ive only got a few. I really like this pepper but Im not bringing any plants in this autumn, so it wont be overwintered again. I dont know what colour variations the PDN x SB7J should have...

Mitzi's 2019 - Grow, grow, grow your Bhut

LONG AND BORING - DONT WASTE YOUR TIME READING THIS Thankfully the vast majority of my plants have survived my two week absence although very few of them are thriving. It's not a good year for me so far. Two possible casualties - the Chupetinho and the Nagabrain Chocolate. The latter was...

Mitzi's 2019 - Grow, grow, grow your Bhut

Another grey, gloomy, wet day today.  Forecast to become hot and sunny by the weekend.  Unfortunately I'm going away for a fortnight and so just when I wouldn't mind it being cool and damp, it's going to be scorching and my plants will all get cooked and die.  I can't win.

I have the first tiny weeny pod just set on the indoor plant, woohoo!  Realistically I'm not going to be able to post a photo anytime soon.  Where do you guys host your photos?  I'm having trouble with finding reliable and easy-to-use photo hosting.     The plant celebrated its success by...

Mitzi's 2019 - Grow, grow, grow your Bhut

So, Tuesday was really nice weather all day... until I finished work and was five minutes away from home, when it started raining.  Managed to get all of two plants potted in light rain, then it started really throwing it down so rain stopped play.  Wednesday was mostly dry, so I got another...

    2019 Grow in Slovenia, europe

I've "liked" your post but I'm sorry that your ebay seeds haven't come true to type.  Unfortunately it's often the way.  This year I sowed white bubblegums.  Only two germinated but I gave one seedling away, then found that the one I gave away looks true to type and the one I kept very obviously...
