    Local's 1st Glog - Perth, Western Australia

Busy weekend for me.   Decided that the LED lights were a little out of my price range, specially because I don't even know if I will keep the DWC going or plant them. So I just went with the CFL lighting.   I picked up 6x 24w lights supposedly 1250lm, 4x 3000k warm and 2x 6000k cool, So cost me...

Bored at work = posting pictures of chillies   So the donations have all greened up and are loving the new digs.   And the DWC plants just keep growing. I'm not sure if I should plant these outside or leave them in here and get some good lights? opinions?   Also have topped the OG DWC plant...

a year or more LED light experience?

A half decent DIY light kit should only set you back $150 - $250 if you do it right. That's what I'm looking to do.    The only thing is we are a little behind the times here in Australia though so it's a little hard to find anything local.

a year or more LED light experience?

I'm also interested in this as I'm looking to try a full grown DWC setup, and also if the mix of white light(3000K/6000K) is better or if a blue/red light(450-480nm/620-680nm) mix is better.   Please be someone who's an expert chime in  :tear:

HOW TO BUILD AN LED GROWLIGHT

Hey,   So trying to wrap my head around LED's and the drivers required.   Do they work the same as everything else? for example; If the LED has the forward voltage of 31.3V And the max current of 1.05A and I wanted to have 6 of them. Does that mean that each COB is 32.8W? so I would need a 190V...

lighting Best lights for my setup

Hey guys,   So it is about time I upgraded my lighting setup on the DWC system in my shed.   I've done the read around and came to the conclusion that LED is the way to go, but it's just out of my price range at the moment. I was thinking some CFL lights as they're quite reasonably priced, and I...

Yeah, I'll need to take some pictures of the ones outside, they are coming along nicely and should produce some pods soon.   This would be my first year from seed, the other years I just bought the plants and grew them in pots. I have to say the learning curve has been insane this year.

    Local's 1st Glog - Perth, Western Australia

Yeah Probably not the outside ones, but the hydros, definitely. they are growing pretty quick and they stay pretty warm in the shed so hopefully I get somewhere.   Just sucks that I've had such a slow start using the wrong soil :/

Queequeg grows stuff, and fixes junk.

Can't terminate each end where the wire is chewed into a socket and just replace the chewed bit? More sockets never hurt anyone :P
