Those could be brown moruga. I had several plants a few years ago and one threw pods like that. The brown moruga is a cross between the TSM and 7 Pot Brown, so sometimes the 7 Pot brown shape comes out instead of the desired moruga scorpion shape. Look at the photo of the 7 Pot Brown on pepper...

  Gary, I had the same experience from the pods you sent me... the first 4 or 5 were surprisingly mild for a scotch bonnet, then I had one today that was very hot and got my attention. I'm definitely planting seed from that pod next year. The crunchiness and flavor of these peppers are really nice!
