Yup. Most bagged "soil" you can find needs some perlite or coarse vermiculite mixed in to drain/aerate like a "potting mix." That said, your plants look great so far.

Like Cruzzfish said, check for some type of pest. Color looks good, although it's hard to know for sure (from a photo), so my first guess wouldn't be overwatering.

I believe you on the bhutlah misery. I had a slice of a chocolate bhut recently that hit the stomach hard.

Thanks for doing these video updates. I'm a couple of weeks behind you up in WI, so it's fun to look forward to that prime growing weather, especially since my plants are now out in the sun. Would love to have that longer growing season. Good job staying on top of the pests, too.
