    Trinidad douglah... red?

Would you mind having one of my pods to confirm what it is? From what you guys describe, this may definitely be a cross.

    Trinidad douglah... red?

So.. even if the TS crossed with the douglah, they'd still look brown?

    Trinidad douglah... red?

Right now.. I'm trying to think of what the culprit may be. The plant happens to be next to my TS plant. Maybe that's why the cross occurred. If any of the pods ripen brown, I think that would confirm this.

    Trinidad douglah... red?

I don't know.. I took the pod and opened it. It had an aroma much like the TS. Upon tasting it, you're right, the flavor is mild, not exactly fruity like the TS. The heat is also unique, unlike the TS, the heat simply hits all at once, not slowly like the TS. Would anybody care for a sample to...

    Trinidad douglah... red?

I heard the douglahs taste smoky.. I know the scorpions have a fruity flavor to them. what is the most distinguishable difference between the two in terms of flavor?

    Trinidad douglah... red?

I'll do a taste test when I get the chance. I hear that douglahs are smoky flavored, but what about the yellow 7?

Shigshwa's Grow Log 2015-2016 (Hydro Grow of Carolina Reapers)

An update of the plants. Red Trinidad Douglah?? Trinidad Scorpion.. Only 2 pods, and they are both very small.. this plant doesn't seem to be producing. I don't know.. those don't look like giant jalapenos to me. Must be an F1 plant. The hybrid plant. still very prolific.

    Trinidad douglah... red?

I ordered some trinidad douglah seeds from pepperlover.com, and I have one plant at the moment. What I'm stumped about though.. is that the pods ripened red, and not brown..

I'm also trying a DWC for my strawberry plant. Might do one for a superhot. Any recommendations?

Shigshwa's Grow Log 2015-2016 (Hydro Grow of Carolina Reapers)

Thought I'd do an update after coming back from vacation. I'm glad to be home. The single pod on the TS plant. It's not as healthy looking, despite all the blooms. It might be the fertillizer that I'm neglecting to give it, I think it's hungry for some nutrients. The various Douglah pods. I...

Shigshwa's Grow Log 2015-2016 (Hydro Grow of Carolina Reapers)

Not exactly sure as to what it is, but it's very prolific, probably 50-60 peppers harvested per plant.

Just a few update pics: 3 Douglah pods. Each is about the size of a bean at the moment. The family of 4. From left to right, TS Butch T, Trinidad Douglah, Giant Jalapeno, and Ghost Jalapeno.

Shigshwa's Grow Log 2015-2016 (Hydro Grow of Carolina Reapers)

Wow... I haven't posted here in the longest of times... Sorry guys. I think I'll need to update quite a lot: Day 125. Simply, a hailstorm hit us here, a huge hailstorm. This caused extensive damage to the plants, and they were pretty much nothing but twigs. However, they sprung back super...

...Wow. I thought my thread would have sunken into the abyss. I've been busy with a lot of other stuff, and ever since I brought these guys outside, mother nature has taken care of them for me, for the most part. Alright, lemme fill you guys in with a brief summary. So I brought my plants out...

Shigshwa's Grow Log 2015-2016 (Hydro Grow of Carolina Reapers)

This was a soil application. Foliar is inconvenient for a tent like this, don't want worm tea all over. I don't have a specific regiment, but my worm bin was stacking with worm castings, so I thought, why not? I didn't add any amendments to the tea this time either. This was simply a bacterial...

Shigshwa's Grow Log 2015-2016 (Hydro Grow of Carolina Reapers)

It's been pretty boring around here, no special treatment for the plants, all I'm doing is letting them do some time in the sun, and giving em some water. A sudden cold front has hit us, had to take the plants in. Bhut hybrid was pretty much defoliated from the 45 degree nights, and the...
