Shigshwa's Grow Log 2015-2016 (Hydro Grow of Carolina Reapers)

Yup, its a Mimosa Pudica clone. Mother plant was about to die, so I took a cutting from the newest growth. And also, its been hotter in Colorado than usual, lows are like 40, which my fake Bhut has withstood so far. It feels like 55 though, honestly. I can pull them indoors easily in the event...

Hardening off. A question about durability.

I think it would be best to leave your plants indoors until you know for sure that there won't be sudden frost.

    soaked hydroton

Hydroton dries way too fast for it to even be called "slow-release"... Wet hydroton dries in like a few hours.

    2012 hardiness zone map

5B, not like it matters anyways, anything that isn't a bulb or a tree in Colorado dies in the winter eventually, guaranteed.

    dropping pods

Its pretty simple to do. Just use your 2 thumbnails and pry it apart. No damage because you won't pull anything.

Yup. Ocean Forest is a bunch of Organic Ferts and microorganisms mixed into one soil. Castings, Guano, Fish Meal, you name it! Also conveniently mixed with soil buffers.

    organic Organic fertilizer.

Man, worm tea, it works miracles! Every once in a while I'll brew up some aerated worm tea, smells sweet, floods my soil with nutes and beneficial bacteria, all wins. The next few days, BOOM, 4 inches of growth that no synthetics could ever do. Although, since I feed mostly leafy greens to my...

Shigshwa's Grow Log 2015-2016 (Hydro Grow of Carolina Reapers)

I'm curious as to what it could be crossed with. Does anyone have an idea? As a seedling, the stem is purple. The leaves are streamlined and thick, and they feel rugged, not rubbery like the TS leaves. The unripe pods are light green. Inside, the walls are thick, and it tastes kinda like a...
