    My DIY LED

515-530nm is suppose to get the plant to absorb the other spectrum more efficiently, and allows the light to penetrate deeper down to the lower limbs. Some kind of trigger effect. That's why I added one green at each panel, should be plenty enough. The 6000-6500K is to cover all other...

Do you think too little light would cause leaves to drop? I thought the sign of too little light would be new pale green stretched growth. I know very little about mango plants though

The heatsink is from taobao.com. It would be hard to acquire that outside China, dunno if those heatsinks are exported to the west. Can always find others though, like from rapidled.

    Hydroponic Mango Tree

My plant certainly hasn't become tall and full of fruit! It's only become a stick without a single leaf. I had to cut some of the top off because it was rotting a bit. Think it's been too close to the window during the really cold days, room temperature is warm but close to window I imagine it...

Growing from seed gives faster growth I guess but mine has just produced a couple of new leafs in half a year. I wonder if my mango tree is grafted or a stickling, it was already like 30cm...
