Slashroot's 2012 Pepper Season - Superhots under LED

Starting to become a jungle in my grow tent, sadly the Red Manzano has lots of flowers but none set fruit. Hand pollinating and fan blowing on it. I've read everything there is to the problem on this forum, seems none of it apply to my case. Might just be the plant being to young for setting...

What kind of soil are you using, just store bought brand or mixed yourself? Must be well drained soil? You must have a lot of outdoor space for all those plants? Keep posting :)

    Smallest ornamental pepper plant?

Thanks for the sample pictures, interesting pepper type :) Dunno why it seems like photobucket has blocked Norway, had to use proxy to be able to view your pictures :\ Quite normally true that long period of rain means change in weather for the warmer. It's happening here now, over a whole...

    hydroponic Hydroponic nutrients?

I've been growing with Lucas formula, a guru that found out that using only GHE Micro and GHE Bloom without GHE Grow was sufficient. GHE is General Hydroponics. The have a 3 series line which is very well known by hydro growers. For me it has worked great :) But I haven't tried that many...

    Smallest ornamental pepper plant?

When is the time you normally would plant out where you live, and whats the low temps at that time? Sadly I've been there, done that! My second Fatalii plant in my hydro system I managed to slip my hands and fall down and hit it. It ended up really crooked but caused the plant to get really...

    Smallest ornamental pepper plant?

Interesting, never heard about that one either. Tried to search a bit to find where they got seeds but I only found names like "Thai Hot Mini", "Thai Miniature" and "Thai Hot". All smaller ornamental plants. Where did you get your seeds from? Sure eat noodles sometimes, would be happy to try...

    Smallest ornamental pepper plant?

That's interesting, so maybe growing one of these in a south facing window could work here even with the weak northern sun. For me the red habanero seem a bit soapy in the taste. For me the perfect pepper might be a superhot version of jalapeno flavor. I sure need to taste more types of pepper...

    Smallest ornamental pepper plant?

Cool plant with lots of different color stages :) I can see the white stuff covering the leaves a bit, but still nice colors visible. The taste is more fruity than standard Red Habanero? I haven't tasted so many different peppers yet since none available here so have to get my own ripen ones...

    Smallest ornamental pepper plant?

Thanks hopefully I manage to keep it that way :) Would like others to name the smallest ornamental they have ever grown. Will use that for next years seed shopping :) Really like them for decorating and in limited spaces.

    Smallest ornamental pepper plant?

What do you guys think is the smallest ornamental pepper plant? For me it seems to be my Prairie Fire plant, only about 2 inches tall and first flower ready to open soon! It's in a DWC system by the way, plant seems healthy enough :) Couple of pictures, tablespoon for comparison.

That's another new thing learned today :) I will totally rule out the idea of using it in hydro! What brand you currently use in hydro?

    Darkb16a1's Coco+perlite soilless project !

Thanks for answering the pH question :) You're not alone about waiting for the weather to be warm enough to move plants in greenhouse. Still mornings below freezing here :(

fertilizer Liquid soil fertilizer in hydro? 7-1-5

Interesting, did you by any chance use the GHE together with lucas formula like me? Would this deficiency happen even if using that formula? I can see that BioNova is not available here, would have to buy it from the UK or something. Never heard for that brand before, but always open to try new...

fertilizer Liquid soil fertilizer in hydro? 7-1-5

Thanks for your reply. So I'll probably skip using it in hydro and just use it for what it's meant for, which is soil. Stick to my lucas formula(GHE Micro and Bloom). Was thinking about giving advanced nutrients a try too, seem interesting :)

So many problems diseases going on..

Interesting, I see from your thread that your plant were taking off even though it had similar problems to mine. Good not all hope is lost hehe It's not lumigrow I'm using but some other brand, I cant really believe that it's my light setting doing it. It's not close at all, if there was any...
