The Hot Paper Lantern from what i've read is supposed to be more prolific and earlier than most habs. That plant is only about 12 to 14 inches tall because it was grown under blue fluoros for most its life, just a few days ago I swapped to a 430W HPS. But who knows, maybe it will be some wicked...

Ok so I was at the hydro store like a week ago and picked up an old used HPS ballast (free :) ) I was told it just needed to be rewired to 120 from 240, So I did that, picked up a bulb, wouldn't fire up, a little confused I did some digging found it might be either the bulb or igniter, went down...

Drooling... I have my HPL Hab podding in my hydro, and my Bhut x Bell has a single pod forming (its still a tiny plant, but i'm too curious to wait, it's still two months till plant out here). Those look amazing.

I just planted some tomatoes in this mix earlier today, so I'll see how it goes for seeding. So far i've only used MG Seed Starting Mix and have had decent results with it.

I got mine at Canadian tire. You can also find it at art knapps plant land. Hydro stores also carry it.
