Correct, the solo cups wick up the nutrients in the solution, apparently in mid summer he goes through about 2 gallons of solution.  I'm going to see if I can get him to respond up here and answer our questions.

The Aji Pineapples came through great, root was not dried out, leaves were not wilted, good to go.  Two have been potted, those I'll keep, one is a gift to my Dad and it will get a pot later this week.  Thanks a bunch Scuba Steve, great transaction and great looking plants.   -Tim

What do the pods that come off the Prince and the Pink Tiger taste like?

Every year I have one of those pods/plants that are sure to be on the grow list the next year, and better yet overwintered.  What's your pick and why, where'd you get the seed/plant?   Mine this year is the CARDI, I got the seeds in a trade from windchicken, I hope he doesn't mind me name...

That looks like a snake tongue, pretty awesome!  

These are fataliis, of the 7 or 8 years I've been growing pods pretty heavily I've never seen this, thought I'd share.  You guys ever seen something like this?  The pods are not joined except for their stems.
