Wondering what this could be? One out of three of my yellow fatalii's is throwing pods like this. An as far as I know I just planted yellows. Possibly red fatalii? I know it's hotter than any yellow I've tried. Sorry for the upsidedown pic. Not meaning to break ya'lls necks.

Think I read some where mold on top of pots could be an underlying issue. Maybe this site or another. Possibly meaning root rot. Bottom water and haven't quite figured out when's long enough. As when I see the first sign of moisture on top, I pull and drain. Yet mold forms in the next 24 hours...

Just wondering if purple stemmed seedlings are as susceptible to dampening off? As their stems look heartier than others. An all my seeds that pop. Stems purple within the first 24 hrs.

Started some seeds the paper towel way. For the first time. Just wanting to know. When the first root/sprout shows. Do they need to go back on heat? After planted in soil? Or can they just go under lights, since they done started?

Have always frozen my fresh pods sliced in half. Just wondering if anyone has ever smoked their fresh pods first, then froze them? An if so, did it work well? As I'm considering doing this, this year. Just to eaze the process. As smoking 1-2 frozen pods for each cooking use is getting tedious.
