Question on potting up my T. bridgesii cuttings.  Is it better to have a wide, shallow pot, or a narrow, deep pot? 

Also remember that these are mathematical odds.  Doesn't mean that will happen in real life.  Also, if you save seed for 10 generations from a single plant each generation, and the plant you select is heterozygous in each generation (it can happen) then you still won't have a stabilized variety...

Solid will correct me if I'm wrong (and I'm wrong, like, a lot), but most liquid dish washing soaps aren't really a soaps, they are a detergent.  We just call them soaps, as detergents are associated with washing clothes.  At least here in the USA.  Not sure what the rest of the world thinks. ...

Having never grown it, I can't offer any advice.  Sounds fun though.  I'd save seed from the different plants, noting the differences.  I'm sure you could use that seed in trades here.  Especially if the seed is isolated. Best of luck.

Those look great Adam.  Weird how the purple color's intensity is changing as the plant grows.

I had very good germination rates with his seeds!  Plus extras.

The Purple Bhut X Primo, from what I can tell, the purple is a dominate gene, so once you are passed the F1 generation (seeds from the original cross) the green plants will start popping up.  Seed from the green plants should never produce purple plants.  Without a lot of luck, or careful...

Hey Bhuter, upsetting I'm sure, but it sounds pretty nifty to me.  Well have to talk about cuttings this fall.   I didn't grow any out of the red or brown ones this year.  Wonder if they were crossed?  Mass grow next year!
