Ok, so here's a question: Can bay laurels be grown in a hydroponics system? In my area they need to be overwintered indoors, and i've got a 5 gallon dwc bucket i could put it in. Theoretically if i were to do this it would be grown under a 600 watt metal halide alongside 3 other buckets.

I've had something eating holes in my plants all season, and after finding a few caterpillars i'm pretty sure it's Winter Moths. The damage to my plants leaves looks like what i see on trees in my area. Does anyone else have problems with moths or a way to deal with them?

  This is one of three reaper plants that are turning black. I got the seeds from Ed Currie. The soil is FoxFarm Ocean Forest. Is this darkening of the leaves normal? Other peppers that aren't reapers I have that are in the same soil are not doing this.
