    Wrapping up

This was my first full pepper season...yes, there's still a month or so to go but my final flushes are set and that will pretty much do it. - Thanks to all here for the great advice and support, I feel I did pretty well. - Had a thread on Nectar for the God's and that seems to have been buried...

    miracle grow moisture control-?

Local hydro shop has 2.5 Fox Farms Ocean Forest for ~$9 a bag...just a superior product to MG. Highly recommend avoiding MG, some very poor results myself in the past and quite a few Youtube side by side test grows shows its not the best option and often the worse. I'm sure some do well with it...

    Blooming?

First time growing these too...they seemed to be quite late as compared to the others but are just starting to bloom out.

    Shishito pepper help

Agreed, good red and a little warmer too. Since they're quite prolific, I just grab when I want some and don't think too much about it. If the grill is on, you can bet a hand full will be on it at some point.

NFTG, Nectar for the Gods nutrient line for HOT PEPPERS

Starting to notice some yellowing/lightening of leaves on my plants in full flower mode...Not all, just a few. Not really seeing much in the way of nitrogen with these products so I sprinkled a smidge of blood meal around these plants to give them a little nitrogen. Don't want to over do it and...

Why are my Hawaiians just bushes?

Over the course of the last month, I began applying NFTGs sample pack....Couple weeks later, they were covered in buds and just yesterday my first few flowers opened!!! So stoked, these were my number-ones and looks like I'll get a nice flush before the season fizzles out. (As to my last...

NFTG, Nectar for the Gods nutrient line for HOT PEPPERS

Seems like you're going to have a much better idea on the ferts with your control. Mine is more straight observation from what was stressed and stubborn to bud to robust and covered in buds. - As an update, my prize Scotch Bonnet is starting to flower, several new ones every day. They all get...

Wierd browning/yellowing of Carolina Reaper leaves

I have some leaves that are 'old' and yellowing...but didn't notice them having dark veins like yours. Clue maybe? ...Perhaps get an affected leaf and see if you can knock off any mites on a piece of white paper. They're super small but if you see any tiny black specs moving...you'll need to...

NFTG, Nectar for the Gods nutrient line for HOT PEPPERS

Update: My scotch bonnets are just covered in buds, hundreds of them. Remember my Hawaiians that wouldn't flower? Covered in buds as well with a lot of new nodes all over. Plants aren't getting tall but they're getting stocky and thick. I've upped the calcium with more Herculean Harvest and also...

indoor DIY PVC Grow Tent Question(s)

Watch your pot size...smaller pot increases the odds of a smaller plant. At least that's what I've experienced.

Storm took a branch off one of my scotch bonnets, advice?

I'd clean up the end with a nice 45 degree cut and dunk it in some rooting hormone and hope for the best.

Are finches a danger to my plants?

In my experience, seed eaters chase off the hard-core bug eaters...Once I got rid of the seed feeders, took a year for the bug eaters to come back and now they regularly patrol my plants picking off horn worms like no bodies business while mysteriously leaving the mantises alone...so far. I...
