    Apparently not an Aji Lemon

It is indeed a Baccatum and I do believe it to be a lemon drop, just didn't know they could grow upwards. The plant has plenty of pods on it, (not as many as in the Growdown thread though) I might have to bring it inside in a couple weeks, due to cold weather moving in, and I really want these...

    Apparently not an Aji Lemon

Alright thanks! I guess i just thought the lemon drop was supposed to face downwards - I'll be looking forward to putting it on/in everything, when the rest of them start to ripen.

    Apparently not an Aji Lemon

Hi THP.   Of the few peppers I have been growing this year, I still haven't been able to ID one of them. I remember it to be something lemon (and assumed it might be Aji Lemon, but due to the standing fruit, it might not be)   The plant is rather leggy, with a couple pods at each node, and the...

    Leaf disease identification

I have discarded of the infected plant, along with a Habanero that starting showing similar signs. Thank you for the response, although it wasn't quite the happy ending i hoped for.

    Leaf disease identification

That's what i feared, just wanted someone else to agree with me. Thank you.   What would be the best treatment? Just to get rid of the plant as fast as possible?   I have several other pepper plants, and I'd like them to survive for just a couple months more.

    Leaf disease identification

Hey THP.   I seem to be having a problem with one of my Carolina Reaper plants. Some of the leaves are starting to gain a weird color and curling up. I've tried to knock mites of the leaves with no succes, and I haven't seen any pests on the plant, so I'm guessing it must be some kind of...

Wierd browning/yellowing of Carolina Reaper leaves

Finally got my hands on some Epsom salt. My local nursery had no clue as to what i was talking about, so i ordered it online.  How do I use the Epsom Salt? I was planning on using it as a foliar feed. How should I dilute it? How much do I spray on each plant? And how often should I apply the salt?

Wierd browning/yellowing of Carolina Reaper leaves

Thanks for the replies! So if the plant is affected by this bacterial disease, should i isolate it from the rest of the plants? And what would be the best thing to do about it? When you say I have to root it out, do you mean I should just give up on it? Are the fruits gonna be safe to eat if...

Wierd browning/yellowing of Carolina Reaper leaves

I'm using a 2-2-2 liquid chili fertilizer, and I usually add the feed to the water 4 times in a row, after which I water without feed. I follow the directions on the bottle for dilution of the fertilizer.    I started putting in the space, because I had a problem with over feeding that specific...

Wierd browning/yellowing of Carolina Reaper leaves

Thanks for the replies!   I still haven't exactly figured out what might be wrong with the plant. I bought a pH/soil-humidity tester, and it seems fine with a pH around 6. I did find several woodlice (armadillo bug, or whatever it's called) hiding in the base om the pot. The plant is currently...

Wierd browning/yellowing of Carolina Reaper leaves

I wish! But the plant with the dropping leaves is losing flowers all over the upper canopy aswell. Probably lost 5 - 10 leaves each day for the past 10 days or so. I'll take a picture of the upper part of the problem-plant tomorrow morning when I'll be home again.

Wierd browning/yellowing of Carolina Reaper leaves

Hey THP!   I joined here with a problem with my Reaper this spring, and that plant has been nothing but trouble since then. It got good for a while, and I thought it was doing great, putting out branches all over, and starting to produce flower buds. But now the leaves are starting to turn...

To top, or not to top?

Hi Everyone   I made the mistake of overfertilizing my Carolina Reaper about 2 weeks ago, and adding in that I've been trying to harden it off aswell, it has dropped a lot of leaves.   It doesn't look to good anymore, and I'm debating whether I should cut it back to the bottom 4 leaves, as it...

    Chili leaves dropping

The leaves are dropping from the younger plants. I have 3 young plants about 8'' tall (20 cm) and one large plant which is almost 2' tall.    The younger plants still seem to be losing leaves.  I topped two of the younger plants about 2 weeks ago, a couple days from each other. The first one I...

    Chili leaves dropping

Hey! I posted here about a week ago due to an overfertilization/sun scorch problem. And it seems to be resolved as has not developed any further. But now I'm in the desperate situation that some of the leaves has started falling of my Reapers. This is a problem on 4 plants, which have been...

Chili leaves browning on the top side

Hi again Just a quick update on my chili problem: I flushed the soil using about as much water as the volume of the pot. This was last Friday and the brown spots have stopped developing. Therefore I'm guessing that they were over fertilized. I had a couple chilies on the windowsill that got a...

Chili leaves browning on the top side

Here are a couple more pictures of the affected plant:   Leaf with a very slight burn on the tip, but otherwise healthy.   Underside of a leaf. It's not very visible in this picture:   Affected tip:   Underside an affected leaf:

Chili leaves browning on the top side

Thanks for the replies. There's one tip wilting a tiny bit, but nothing major. While the rest are just turning brown next to the veins of the leaves. I started hardening them off last week, and then we were hit by a cold front this week. (Snow, Hail, etc.) So I moved them inside again. I'll...

Chili leaves browning on the top side

Thanks for the reply!   It could possibly be a nitrogen burn, as the leaves feel somewhat crispy, and due to the very cloudy weather over the past week I doubt that they are scorched.   I used a soilless potting mix for one of them, and I used a fertilized mix for the rest. The one in the...

Chili leaves browning on the top side

Hi   I planted 4 Carolina Reapers in January, and everything has gone really well so far, but then yesterday they started showing a browning on the top side of a couple of leaves. This is affecting 3 out of 4 plants.   I started feeding them about a month ago, and I'm using a special chili feed...
