    Perennial pepper in Locke California

    I have to agree, the fruit does look similar. Flower, too. I see that there are medicinal uses listed: http://www.stuartxchange.org/JerusalemCherry.html So perhaps it is used by the Chinese.  I will have to ask them next time I am there. Thanks for the quick ID.

    Hi, First time here. Trying to ID a perennial pepper. I found this growing in front of the Locke Chinese Medicine building in Locke, California.
