pics Friend or Foe - The Pepper Frog!!!

I went out last night to check for hornworms with my blacklight - both frogs were hanging off the bottom of pods, bugs flying all around. I hope they stick around until the pods turn colors, that'd make some good pics.

    pics Tabasco Running Wild!

I wish I could claim it was something I did with my great knowledge, but honestly, it's just dumb luck. I think maybe Tabasco just likes a hot, humid climate? Sometimes my plants grow good, and sometimes they struggle, I'm still trying to figure out why.

I don't know why, but that thing just grows like a weed. I wish the rest of my plants would grow like that.

Thanks! I hope it stays that way. I had to trash a good sized Marconi plant today, it had some kind of blight on the stems and all the leaves and peppers were falling off. I hope this one didn't catch it.

    pest Holes in Peppers

Haven't had any hornworms yet this season. I bring the plants in the garage every night, I think that might be helping with them. I looked up pepper weevils, I haven't seen any of them either. All's I've seen is caterpillars, flea beetles, cucumber beetles and leaf hoppers. I'm going to start...

    pest Holes in Peppers

I looked it up on google and they said it was likely caterpillars, which makes sense, because I've been finding 3 or so caterpillars munching away every morning.

nutrients Does this look like Calcium deficiency? Or??

Give some cal/mag or ground up eggshells and see if it helps. They also look a little yellowish, like needing nitrogen. Are you feeding them anything? I've had a lot of trouble with crinkling and misshapen leaves and slow growth. I had one that just wouldn't clean up, so I put it in the trash, I...
