    Orange Rocoto won't set pods?

I have 4 orange rocotos in the garden, 3 are doing fine, a little on the small side but producing flowers and pods, even have some ripening. I guess what I'd expect. But the forth plant is the largest of them all, has had nonstop blossoms since planting in mid-May but it's yet to set fruit.   Why?

Another, What Have I got Here?

So, i got this Brown Jalapeno that doesn't look so brown.  I was hoping someone could take a guess as to what it is,  It's has a nice heat level for me, hotter then a jalapeno and maybe not as hot as a serrano . the pepper in the pic is the first ripe one on the plant, so it might be a runt. I...

Idea's on a sick tomato plant

So out of a dozen or so "super sweet 100's" plants I have this one plant that just looks terrible. This isn't the best pic but the sickly one is in the foreground and the one behind it is what the others look like.     They were all started from seed at the same time from the same source...

Any ideas on these black margins

I've got one tabasco that has developed black edges on the old growth leaves. Plant seems healthy considering all the rain and cold weather we've had. It's in a 1/2 gallon pot and I'd rather not plant it with the others if it's a bacterial thing. I did search for similar photos on the google...

Help! Is This a Magnesium Deficiency? or Nitrogen

I've read a bunch of posts about yellowing leaves and in my amateur opinion I think I'm looking at a magnesium issue. I've got about 40 plants (five varieties) and the only place I'm seeing this is on one lower leaf on two different rocoto plants. Any and all advice would be appreciated.

    seeds Transplanting root bound seedlings?

Many years ago I had been taught that when you're transplanting rootbound plants, that you should take a knife or a fingernail and slice the roots top to bottom so they will grow out, and not continue around and strangle themselves. Is that a myth or a bad practice?  What's the proper method to...

water What Ratio water h2o2 for foliage spray.

I've search around here and the net for a safe ratio to spray my plants that have some type of damage going on, but I see ratios from 8:1 down to 47:1. I'd like to keep it on the safe side but I also want it to be effective. Anybody have an opinion? Thanks

    Help!!......What's eating my Reapers?

Last night while shutting off the grow lights I saw something very small fly by my face. So this morning I started checking my plants one by one. It appears that something is eating my Carolina Reapers.    The plants are healthy and happy, can someone tell me who's dinning on these plants?   ...

    Discolored Leaves?

I've been searching, with no luck, for an answer to why a few seedlings have developed what looks like a purple or maybe black color to some leaves. the plants are a month old growing in a Burpee tray with their soil. I haven't given them anything but water up to now. They have 2 sets of true...

    Net Pots....Does Size Matter?

New guy here with Hydroponic's. I've been researching if there is a reason for the diffent size net pots, or why would I use one over the other with no real answers. Right now I have some seedlings growing in an Aerogardern system that I'd like to move to some sort of larger hydro system. Will I...

soil Cold soil in a warm room?

I have a couple peat pots that I started some seedlings in. They're in a room that has an ambient temp of 70°-72°f  but the soil is 10 degrees cooler. How can this be? Is it an evaporative cooling effect?  I wrapped one with aluminum foil and it helped a little but still not up to room temp.  At...
