Gave these guys a serious pruning today. This tray plus the other tray of peppers are growing out of control, the jalapeno chernobyl plants already tried to flower twice. Thinking it will be a good year.      

Update on the plants, all are do extremely well.       The reaper I've been growing over winter. Need to transplant very soon.      

Have twin Jalapeno Chernobyl plants (right plant). I remember a few years back having twin ghost plants along with two peppers one stem, very heavy producing plant. Hopefully the JC plant will be the same. Must be in the water. :P   Update on the flytraps, I need to transplant them sometime...

If you look at post #6 that is the led light in use. For some reason I seem to get some leggy plants. I solve the problem by up rooting them and almost bend them in half to where the first leaves are about 1/4"-1/2" above the soil. Have plenty of time for the plants to grow before going outside.

Been having seedlings pop up since 2.13.21, not too bad 6 day germination for hot peppers. Things are looking good so far.  

 Dropped the seeds into some soil yesterday, sitting on a heat mat @ 82F w/dome. The ghostly jalapeno has 3 blooms on it. Have small fan blowing on it to help pollinate.     Couldn't pass up this tshirt, let freedom ring! Which reminds me, all last year when I was buying garden supplies online...

Dehydrating some apoc scorpion, choc bhutlah, death spiral, and reaper peppers. Probably going to make flakes out of this batch.     Some plants I've been growing inside strictly, might have some pods midwinter maybe.

A few Apocalypse Scorpion peppers for the day.

Made a loaf of Alaska sourdough bread and sausage gravy, toasted the bread with butter. The avocado jalapeno sauce on top was very tasty.     Whipped up a couple more pints of pickled sour mexican gherkins, the left jar have a couple reaper X chupetinho peppers/garlic. Right jar just garlic.  

Todays harvest: clockwise from chocolate bhutlahs, death spirals, reaper X chupetinho, sour mexican gherkins, and carolina reaper.  

CaneDog here are some candidates for the death spiral taste test.     This death spiral I nicknamed grumpy, the dude just looks like it's going to pack some serious heat.     Reaper pod thinking it got some apocalypse scorpion pollen involved, going to save the seeds and see what becomes of it...
