tutorial Growing Hot Peppers Guide + FAQ

That's what I'm going with, been outside three weeks now and peppers are bustin' out all over. I'm going to leave it in the container, possibly graduate it to a 5 gallon size, but not planting it in the physical garden. 👌.

tutorial Growing Hot Peppers Guide + FAQ

Hello! So I have a nice habanero plant, overwintered twice, now entering its third growing season. I'm wondering if I really need to sink it into the garden or just leave it in the pot in the garden area for the summer+? I'm not really needing it to get bigger as it's very manageable now for the...

    overwintering Advice on overwintering? Help

I overwintered my habanero this past winter, (first time), it survived and is thriving now. My most used go to advice was do not over water. I had a sticky note on the table and wrote down the date each time I watered. Ended up every 21-26 days I would douse it, poured water in until it was...

Made it! Plant really responded to watering only once every 3-4 weeks, and loved an aluminum sheet I cupped around the back so she could get a few more rays. Little nervous about replanting outside but I'm hoping for early and plentiful habs! Here's a current pic..         Tim

    overwintering Overwintering naivety

Hi folks,            Had a fairly productive, healthy habanero in my veg garden last season and decided to try the overwinter technique(?). Put a mix of peat moss and compost in bottom of container (with holes) then dug out the pepper and nestled it in nicely, early October. Placed it in my...
