Unfortunately I do not know that yet. I just obtained the seeds from an exchange when the last year season was already near the end so I was not able to grow them yet.
Yes I have a few 7 pod Julian strain seeds that I can spare. I would be more interested in Aji Omnicolor, 7 Pod Yellow, Bhut Jolokia Chocolate, and Chilhuacle Negro from your grow list if you have any of these available.
If someone wanted to trade chilli pepper seeds with me here is my seed list:

There is also a list of a few varieties I am looking for at the bottom of the page.
Also my must have for this year is Blondie and CAP 1474. Both of them are baccatums and they are the best ones IMHO.
The Blondie is the last year surprise - I really like the pods when they are not yet matured. And CAP 1474 is my all time favorite.
I suppose it depends on the variety and especially the species. For example the baccatums definitely grow new roots when planted deeper. Most annuums do as well. I am not so sure about pubescens, frutescens, and chinense.
Here in Europe and especially in our country it is even worse. You have only bell peppers here which taste awfully. Only during summer you can buy nicely tasting and even hot peppers on local markets. Sometimes you can buy overpriced packs of poorly tasting mix of chillis however they are mostly...
I've registered a few days ago. I am from a small town in the Czech Republic. Growing and eating chillis is becoming slowly a hobby for some people here. We have also a web site http://www.chilliweb.cz/.
I've been growing chillis myself since the year 2006.
There are various kinds of stink bugs and some of them are pure vegetarians but others are actually beneficial as they are killing other pests. You would have to find out which kind exactly it is to tell whether they are the good ones or not. They do not eat whole leaves or insects or so but...
I got some seeds of Cajamarca and planted them this year. But unfortunately none of them germinate. I still kept a few and I want to try them next year again.
These 7 pot Brain strain pods are sooo fascinating. I wonder how such interesting chilis could stay unnoticed for so long time. I was never into the hottest of the hot chinenses too much but these look so wonderful that I really want to grow them next year. I missed this season as it is too late...
