    Any pot growers?

I'll be trying my best not to grow in pots next year. I do like having the option of moving them out of the temperature extremes but everything I have in the ground is doing strides better than the plants I have in pots. 25-30cm pots should be fine, however let the plant guide you on the size of...

    Lazies 2011 grow log

My biggest worry about hydro is the cost of lighting and nutrients.. and the fact that I've never done it before. I've seen ebb and flow systems outdoors before though but I've never seen a tutorial on how to set it up. I mean I've watched some youtube videos but nothing in depth enough to have...

    Good or bad insect?

Some more information on them... Hmmmm I wonder how I can get rid of them. I haven't noticed any damage from them but If I go out to the garden I could probably find a few each day. http://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/agriculture/horticulture/citrus/health/pests/crusader-bug

    Good or bad insect?

I'll take a better picture today if I can find one with the digital camera. Those were taken on the phone because it's what I had on me at the time. I looked through many pages of "black insect with yellow spots" on google... I thought it would be much easier to find also. I also looked at a...

    Good or bad insect?

What are these guys and are they good or bad? I've seen a few on my eggplants as pictured and I sometimes see them on my chilli's also. I have been killing them so far cause I don't know what they are... but not sure if I should be.

    More weird crap from bunnings

The one I have is a Floriana Habanero. I think the other forum member also had an issue with a United Nurseries plant not being true to label as well. I'll check through my convo to confirm.

    More weird crap from bunnings

Wow that does look a little weird. What "brand" was the Hab. I've got a Floriana Orange Hab from Bunnings and I speak often to another forum member who has one also. The pods from both our plants look similar to each others, but nothing like yours do. Did you wait till it was Orange to eat or...

seeds My seedling keep losing leaves!

It didn't look diseased. Roots looked healthy. I'm not really worried if that 1 tomato plant dies anyway as I have about 30 or more plants. If it does well then bonus. I just potted up another tomato plant into a bucket. Just drilled heaps of holes in the bottom and around the base. Mitre 10...
