Yes you can replace the bulbs with ones with another spectrum, that´s no problem. In my experience( from both growing peppers and freshwater plants) and, they are unsuitable for growing plants, though they are used for saltwater aquaristics as they are suitable for an array of marine life...

May I ask you how much coconuts one would need to get the amount shown in the fifth picture? I use coco a lot( both peat and coir) as it is aerated and also very friendly for the environment. Best Regards, Jan

You also get that orange ones here in Germany exported from the Netherlands, price 15 € per Kilo( 10 on sale), but in the last years they got pretty rare and now you mostly find red ones. I have grown them some years ago and they are very good producers, heat and taste comparable to a yellow...

I use a hydrogen peroxide solution, to. I soak them for three days but I change the solution every day. Works very well, most varieties germinate after 3 days. I have to look up again what concentration I do use, but it is pretty low. Jan

Very nice hybrid. Yeah there is a reason why Pepperking.com says that they cannot guarantee that their seeds and plants are pure, but through that alot of new varieties have originated. Best Regards Jan
