Yes, it helps me keep things straight with whatever species I save seed for from year to year. The G1 for the original seeds you sent out is somewhat arbitrary and ignores the years of effort leading up to then. The year is just the year the seeds were harvested. PS - Great video, by the way.

Late to the party. First, I need to correct my most recent post above; the plant hiding in amongst the monster turmeric is a G2-18, not G2-19. All of my G3 seeds are from that one plant... I'll have to check again to see if I have any G3-21 left, but I know I have G3-20 and G3-22. G3-19...

This is sort of a "Where's Waldo" picture taken last July, but the G2-19 parent of all my G3 seeds is hiding in amongst the turmeric plant here. You'd be hard pressed to find them in this photo, but there are a few unripe pods in there. The volunteer seedlings underneath are from the pods...

Hey, Marc, did your P. Dreadie pods develop a more typical shape by season's end last year? As others have mentioned, I've found the earliest pods are often atypical, but improve through the course of the season. It seems like others have had better results from the same batch of seeds, so...

That's good to hear, Marc. You're welcome, and happy growing! I've had confirmation of receipt of all but one seed request. Hopefully that one will turn up soon.

Thanks, Dieter. I was looking back at some of the pictures others have posted and I, too, have noticed that early pods often have a different shape. I haven't noticed the elongated pods, but this year's early pods had stingers. I don't remember now if any had the side prickles. The G3-21...

Thanks, Sandy. Marc, no arm twisting, but I have plenty of G3-20 and G2-18 seeds, just in case you (or anyone else) want some of those. I edited my post above to correct G2-19 to G2-18. I have no PDSB seeds of any generation from 2019.

That's all I was planning to send, but I could include some G2-18 and/or G3-20, if I still have them. The latter are from the same plant pictured in post #900, but from the previous year (and refrigerated in the meantime). Let me check my inventory and I'll get back to you later today.

You're welcome, JJ, glad I could help. I realized this morning the Post Office is closed tomorrow. Seeds will start their journeys Tuesday.

Two stamps each, global and domestic, remain for seed requests as noted above in post #892. Bad lighting here, but this is the G2-19 plant the seeds are harvested from: Germinated in '19, this is its third winter. I may have not posted a picture of it before, but this plant was originally...

Hi Sandy, sure thing, just pm (or is it dm?) your details. Do you have a list of what you have to trade in your profile? I'm finding the site update difficult to navigate until I get used to it.

Looks like some growers had good luck with the seeds I sent out last year, so I'm back with another offer. Using similar terminology to that used introduced in post 793, these are G3-21 seeds produced by the very same G2-19 plant that produced the last batch of G3 seeds. These seeds have not...

+1 for Paul's comment. If I ever knew, I had forgotten these were so "prickly". Is this trait persisting in others' grows?

Yours started their journey today, Inoks. Otherwise, three of seven shipments have confirmed receipt. Hopefully the rest will arrive at the intended destination soon. I still have three or four non-machinable US stamps and an adequate supply of seeds. Send a pm if anyone else wants to grow...

Six envelopes with seeds went out in yesterday's mail. If you haven't received a pm confirming that, we may have crossed wires, so get in touch. Someone is a getting a double dose of seeds. I somehow managed to stick two pieces of bubble wrap with attached seeds into one envelope. Whoever...
