I'm actually in Iceland, so I know steep shipping costs very well :) Just thought I'd point this out as an alternative. I'm pretty sure the crystals are much less expensive per lb than diapers, even with transcontinental shipping :)

Looks good. I would have gone with a different distribution of the blues (too clustered, imho) and dropped the lenses on the greens (since you want it to reach as wide as possible). Keep up the good work :)

It's not a gimmick... My growth rates have been extremely good, no legginess, nice green plants... Here's a pic I just took: I have waaaayy too much lettuce!

I'll add a fan and see what happens. This is what my little garden looked like 2 weeks ago (on august 20th): Looks like a lot of growth in 2 weeks when you look at the old pic vs new :) Especially since I keep trimming these about once a week to keep them from overshadowing each other...

My Orange Trinidad Scorpion is now popping up flowers like there's no tomorrow, and I'm wondering if I have to do something to pollinate them? I'm growing it inside, under LEDs and ebb&flow hydro system. Pics Flower Tomatoes, Orange TS, TS Butch T and strawberries, all growing happily...

How's this grow doing now? Still the same flower dropping problem, or are you producing bucketloads of chilis by now?

Thanks. The reef hadn't been set up for very long when I took that pic so it wasn't fully grown in. The growth on the turbinaria and montipora was really amazing under the LEDs. Never seen anything like it. Thanks! :)

I didn't get dimmable drivers. I do however have some dimmable meanwell drivers I could use. I got some 10-18 led 680mA drivers from satisled.com. I also got the 660nm, 445nm leds and lenses from there. The other leds I got off ebay. I have been DIYing LEDs for a few years now, about 2 years...
