Good news! 2 of the plants I repotted have exploded and are on the second set of true leaves now. A third is recovering as well - rest are, well, dead.

Yep. I'll be in San Diego next weekend, seems lots of guys down there grow supers so I'm going to stock up. Next year, I'll buy 2x more seeds than I think I need and get them started in January instead of March. But at least now ai have the equipment and experience to (hopefully) do better in 2014.

Not bad - I think I probably made too many rookie mistakes - underwatering, overwatering, nutes too soon - etc. Nothing I can do now, I hope the 2-3 that are left pull through but they don't look too good.

Well, almost all of them have died. I think I fried 'em with nutes. Better luck next year?

Ok, regular potting soil is fine? I have "Sta-Green All Purpose Potting Soil with fertilizer" that's left over from the flowers.

Seedlings seem to have improved with less water - flushed a couple of them that looked really yellow. A few died, the rest seem okay now - cotyledons fell off most of them but the true leaves are still there. They still aren't growing though - they all seem to have stalled and stayed the same...

Look okay to me - when did you plant yours? Mine are a LOT smaller.

Probably 1.5" deep and 1"x1" around.

If it was too much fert will they recover? Don't think I am overwatering. It is dry and cold (40s) here. Also, nobody is commenting on growth rate. Not a problem that they're over a month old and barely growing leaves?

Novice seed grower, so sorry for the amount of questions lately! Anyway, I have been growing some moruga scorpions. Sowed them first week of march, the sprouted around the 15th of March. Fast forward a month, and they seem to be growing EXTREMELY slowly - I know superhots are slow growing, but...

I use almost exclusively ripe peppers, the only exceptions are jalapenos, which I usually use green, exceptions being for desserts, and habeneros, of which I use green ones for certain salsas and marinades.

That's what I thought - good to know I'm not too far off. I'll try bumping up the temps and see what happens.

Thanks Prehensile - they were drying out! Watered them, put the humidity dome back on, and they're doing great now. Question though - these sprouted a little over 3 weeks ago, and they are just now starting to produce true leaves. Are these slow growing varieties or should I up the heat? They...

Ok. It's dry here - 5% humidity max - and soil feels pretty dry. I'll back off on watering. What do you suggest? 2x a week? Also, 2 of the 20 that sprouted died - they are shriveled up. You can see one in pic #2 to the left of the right side seedling.
