You could try using the plastic from the 'carport' if it's not too ripped up to try and fix the roof atleast partially. I'm thinking a sort of rooftile plan. Put the carport seal under sloped roof part and over the vertical part, that way water can't get in. I guess tyraps or duct tape will be...
