I grew this season and love it. No heat (maybe just a tad, ever so slight) super sweetish perfume. Made a Habanada ice cream with it too and flavour stayed distinct in the ice cream

A type of "Chili Padi" (malay word for birdseye) common in Malaysia. Hairy stems and very prolific. I seen it commonly sold in nurseries in Kuala Lumpur

Savina, they are quite hot but not have the flavor or smell of c.chinense. i am no expert with tasting but i only know it is tolerable heat so maybe say 10k Scoville? ?
Not having luck growing a true one in 2 seasons with this variety! Love to get hold of a true one. On opposite side of hemisphere so will not be able to participate!

I am located in Sydney and this is a real problem this season as well. Ceratrap doesn't work well but malathion spray do. I dont like it as it indiscriminately kill the good bugs as well. Aphids usually followed after spray. Not much choices. I have literally resigned to it
