Here is the first pepper, they are orange the camera makes them look red. Im not sure if these are habs or some type of rocoto's. the seeds in them are white, not black.     . . .   The second pepper, i think is a hybrid but i could be wrong. Its yellow / orange / red.   . .

the weather in NC started off so slow it was already a horrible year, now last week we were at 90, and this week ... 60's.   with massive flooding, late summer, and early winter, its been horrible.   anywho, with it dropping into the 60's, should i leave all my pods that are not fully ripe on...

Ok, first i made the biggest mistake ever. I was out of latex gloves and decided to deseed these few pods without them, I only had two Ghost's, and a bunch of Maules Red Hot... no biggie right. Ha.   Fingers are on fire, did oil, alcohol, baking soda, milk, sour cream, dish detergent, etc etc...

this is about the 12th pepper i have found on the ground with these symptoms   pods are healthy but have one small hole at the top near the stem.   I have now found a worm, maybe slug in one. any idea what this is and if this is the culprit?

I am pretty sure i have CMV cucumber mosaic virus, i am considering pulling up all of my cucumbers as they are between my peppers and tomatos and it looks like this will spread.   any suggestions or thoughts?   mabye downy mildew

I didnt plan this, but right next to my pepper plants, tomato plants from last year came back up.   The pepper plants and tomato plants now that they have some size on them are all but touching. I was wondering if tomato's and peppers will cross or effect my seeds that i save from the peppers

found a huge mound of ants , and a few of them, i would say 1 out of 30, have wings. took a few pics. the ant mound was in burnt ash, wood chip, bush shreds mound from yard work. They are all carring what appears to be baby ants.     can you tell if these are flying ants, or termites?
