How long for Reapers/Morugas to ripen in New England?

Thanks for the info - that's good news to hear. I have a good grow light too but I won't have a place to use it until the winter. I'm hoping to continue the healthiest plants indoors and possibly put them back outside next year to get a head start on the season. I know I won't get a ton of...

How long for Reapers/Morugas to ripen in New England?

I'm getting impatient - is it normal for these superhots to take so long to change color? I'm growing in Eastern Massachusetts. The Carolina Reapers are really small (about the size of a quarter) and the Morugas are huge (averaging an inch and a half wide by 2 inches long, maybe a little more)...

    My neighbor's Moruga experience

With the yellow ghost, me and my friend split it in half and ate it fresh. I'm glad I tried it, but I don't think we'll be doing that with the moruga - we'll probably eat a small slice fresh and use the rest of them dehydrated or in sauces. He did make a great hot sauce out of many of the ghosts...

    Please help ID purple pepper

Thanks for the info - it's a cool looking plant, so I'll definitely be saving seeds from it and trying them inside under lights. I'll also do a taste comparison with the other PJs and plant a few seeds from that original seed pack again.

    Please help ID purple pepper

I am growing purple jalapenos this year and that's what I thought it was, but all my other plants have 99% green leaves, typical jalapeno pod shape and size, and less heat. How could this plant be completely different from the other purple Js?

    Please help ID purple pepper

Hey everyone - I just joined the forum today but have been reading for a few months. I have an unidentified plant and none of my seeds I've the grown the past 3 years are even close to this one. These aren't the best pics, but the pods are small and stubby, very dark purple and I would describe...
