Made these 5 selections from around 50 F2-plants - again I think I have been able to achieve my goal even though I am only growing small scale - so just give breeding a try... The selections all have cluster fruit-set (aka umbrella gene), hot to very hot pods, great chinense-typical aroma.

This chinense variety is very pretty and also very hot and aromatic.:cool: This plant was grown inside and therefore is not so dark/black, when grown outside its leaves, flowers and pods look a lot like Pimenta da Neyde in color, I think they are closely related...

(UPDATE): Best varieties: Naga Morich, Antillais, White Bullet, Limon, Beni Highlands (best fruit set + best flavour I think was by Antillais, the most aromatic one...) Worst varieties: Quinstisho, NuMex Suave Orange+Red, Aji Dulce Red. OLD MESSAGE: Hoping for some northern gardeners to join...

Despite low temps (12-15 C) and lots of rain these beauties have ripened into amazingly hot stuff with a pronounced lemony aroma to it...

I am growing two plants of this very nice and promising variety, they should have been maturing to yellow, but both of them turned red. The two plants look identical, though, so maybe it will be worth saving seeds and growing them again, will give it a try...
