My mom never really liked her food too spicy but my dad loved it hot and would ask for his food extra hot wherever he could. Do you suppose the taste for spicy food is genetic? Or is there any documentation in support or opposition to this?

I know that growing chamomille next to herbs can increase oil production. Do you think it would have any effect on chilies? Lol

I bought this plant as a seedling at a local farmers market.  It was labeled "Scorpion",  but it doesn't look like any Scorpion I've ever seen,  I thought the pods were almost more Habanero shaped.  I tried one and is it VERY hot,  definitely what I would consider to be a superhot.   Any ideas?
