These lovely plants are finally flowering!  Worth the wait!    

I have found these around my hoop house, particularly on my chiltepin plants. What are these guys, what do they do, should I worry about them? They are quite small, maybe the size of a pencil lead, perhaps a bit smaller.

Since I'm growing reapers this year, I figured I should find out some uses for the pods besides the occasional snack for myself and my enemies.  I don't know of any recipes that warrant a throat burn as intense as the reaper's.  What have you guys come up with?

I think this chili is way too delicious for the amount of exposure it gets.  I especially love it because it is a native species here.  Besides the obvious drying and powdering, does anyone have recipes involving the chiltepin?
