Pods have arrived! I have been dealing with some flower drop probably due to some thrips and the heat, but I am excited as the annuums have really podded up. Apparently,  I am also dealing with a herbicide issue. Seems common this year since other members have been dealing with it as well.   ...

yeah, I have seen some other images on this forum that looked similar, I didn't spray any herbicide recently. What is the best way to deal with it if it turns out to be herbicide? Cut off the bad growth? Interesting that it didn't affect all the plants or other plants nearby. 

I noticed earlier this month that I had some thrips in the flowers earlier this month and started spraying with a mixture of neem oil, soap, and water. New growth on some of the plants, has looked weird. Is it possible that the bad new growth is due to the spray, the insects, or something else...

Well looks like my tedious notes were not tedious enough. I had this plant marked as a Aji Amarillo. I think somewhere along the line I messed up with the name. Unless I got wrong seeds, which I highly doubt or it is a cross.  From the seeds I grew, the only other options it could be are: Giant...

Due to cold weather the next two days, the peppers have to spend the next few nights and probably all day Monday in the garage. I guess I was one week off with the last freeze. Poor peppers.
