    Devil's Horn from Judy

These pods were picked about 1/2 hour ago and have ripened VERY slowly over the last few weeks, but the size and colour are both pretty good !

    Lucy & Katie - a question

Hi All,   I've been looking around into the 7 pot world to see what's new (at least to me), and while I am growing the Lucy, I just came across Katie - hadn't heard of that one.   A quick search here provides some bit's and pieces of info but I do see a claimed SHU rating that puts it on par...

WTT for hybrids of BG7 or Reaper

Hi All,   Just wondering if anybody happens to have any hybrids of the BG7 or Reaper at F3 or later available for trade ?   (I'm not sure if such are at F3 by now, so please forgive my ignorance! )   If interested, please have a look at my profile lists and let me know. If there's nothing there...

Calayx of the BG7 - how long until it changes ?

Hi All,   Simple question - once the body of the BG7 fruit has actually turned red, how long before the calayx starts to change colour ?   My single plant has plenty of ripe fruit, but none of the calayx have changed at all.   Also, all the fruit look the pretty much the same to me so I wouldn't...

My first Carolina Reaper (ever), but ...

Hi All,   Here's a photo of my first ever Carolina Reaper (amongst good company).   I think it's showing it's Habanero heritage as opposed to the 7 Pot Primo in the centre and Yellow Morouga Scorpion to the left.     I can't say I am impressed with my Reaper plants - I have two growing and only...

pests Check this small bug out !

Can't say I know what it is - probably 4mm long at most.   Seems to have a liking for my 7 Pot Jonah and hasn't done any damage.   The diversity of insects I have seen this year, especially around this one plant, has been noticeably higher.   Regards,   Tim

chinense Morouga Scorpion x 7 Pot Brain Strain ?

Hi All,   Just wondering if anyone knows if this particular cross has been done, and if so, what F number it might be at this season ?   The basis of my curioisty is if the offspring shows the same sort of pimpling, as you might expect, or something else entirely ?   Regards,   Tim

    trade For Trade (from Australia)

Hi All,   I've been going through my stock levels and discovered that I have more seed from some types than I thought.   As such, I'd like to do a "for trade', but as the title says, I am in Australia, so if that puts you off, please read no further and thanks for looking anyway.   If I call 5...

    Potential name changes ?

Hi All,   I've been doing the rounds to find out what 7-Pot hybrids were perhaps F2/F3 a few years back, and thus maybe ready to come out as "stable" in the near future.   I see the 7 Pot Rust and 7 Pot Evergreen mentioned for example,   I'm not sure about the first - I see a website with .dk in...

    "Superhot Beast" from Semillas

Hi All,   I have come across this one from Semillas, but it seems to only come up when viewing seeds with the German language preference ...   Anyway, Google translate of the description doesn't say much more than it's a cross of a couple of superhots, like his JAFSH (which I am growing this...

    kitty litter mulch

Hi All,   This season I thought I would try the recycled paper kitty litter as mulch for my pots.   I have started using it with some plants, but has anybody already tried it and care to let me know what they think about it after a full season of use ?   Regards,   Tim
