Ack, been away from the forums for a while. The only transplant I have that survived so far was a Tabasco, but I planted some more seeds and have tiny jalapeños and aji limons again. I should have just planted in the ground, I guess I'm no good at transplanting. Might try another round in a...
In my infinite wisdom, I put several seeds per cell in my seed starter. Now I've got anywhere from 1 to 6 sprouts in some of the cells. Is it OK to separate them (gently) when I move them to solo cups? At this point they should mostly just have tap roots, yeah?
This afternoon I've got hooks in both the sweet bananas and the datils! Still no jolokias, but everything else is going like crazy. Still need to get my most recent acquisitions in dirt, but so far so good
The new additions that will hopefully get started today: early jalapeño, Trinidad perfume, aji limon, goat's weed, Trinidad douglah, Trinidad scorpion yellow, brown moruga, red fatalii, 7 pod Congo gigantic, 7 pod barrackpore, and black Congo. :p
Adding to all the glowing reviews - I ordered 4 packs and received 11. Good prices, fast shipping, and so many freebies. I had to go buy more solo cups because I'm crazy and decided to try to grow them all.
Order arrived from pepperlover.com along with a bunch of freebies. Holy cow. I'm gonna be busy. Will update the grow list when I get home. :D

I have, I just don't know where I want them yet. Sounds like I need to get a slow release liquid fert for them too.
And I just came up with a spot for them. Guess I know what I'm doing after gym time today :D
Right now they are in potting soil, with one of the fert sticks that came with the plants. When I first moved them outside I out them in a potting soil/horse manure mix, but they seemed to do worse so I moved them into the straight potting soil. We've grown all kinds of things in our manure mix...
Having problems with a couple of banana plants. I'm not in the ideal climate, but I'm told if I can get them established they'll be just fine. I transplanted them from 4" pots into 15 gallon containers when the cats kept eating the leaves. Anyway, any ideas what I need to do here? Sulfur...
