They have about the same amount of light than last few seasons, so I am almost certain the problem was in soil - could be some bad batch and it was too moist around the roots maybe.

    tsurrie's 2024 glog

All the seedlings are stalled so I decided to replace the soil in all the pots :banghead: Hoping they can recover further on. Currently it looks like this season is going to be the worst so far - if they don't recover I will certainly buy a few from the nursery. There is still hope I guess...

Thank you. The plan is too keep 'em that way, just bigger... Thank you Paul. Dedication to habanero heat level - what is hotter is too much for regular consumption, what is milder is a bit dull --- and I like that classic habanero flavour the most. Thank you. Wiggle on then, there's still...

Let's play. I will not grow much more peppers this season than last one, but it's going to be fun like always :) Let's hope for a decent grow. Last year was pretty good even with just 10 main plants - mostly habaneros. They are my favorite and they will play the main part in this season grow...

Thank you. They look like they will stay dark purple with maybe just a hint of red. Will pick some these coming days and try one. I need to check the other plant I have on the garden to see if there is any difference.

    P. Dreadie Memorial Group Grow 2016

Here is my first Papa Dreadie plant, this one is the best producer for now. I have it in a pot on a balcony which means lot's of sun and just enough watering. I guess I'll take seeds from the left one for next season. Just tried one and it has lovely mild fruity taste and just enough heat (I...

A little update after a while. Just finished dinner with a little habanero so the timing is right to post some pics from this evening, while the burning slowly fades away. This one is from yesterday, when I thought I can finally try my first Papa Dreadie. But someone uninvited showed up from...

Good to know Paul. Hoping to see some pods forming soon. Thank you. I hope some more branches will form on both of them. A lot of flowers dropped already, because of the heat during the day I think. But I guess that happens every year at this time.

Just a little update on the plants in pots. Lot's of rain over the last two weeks, but luckily these are on the balcony and against the wall, so they are partially protected but I have to water them every two to three days. Had a problem with aphids on some of them, but that has passed...
