The only good thing is that my reaper is starting to produce pods, didn't get even one pod last year.

Managed to get rid of all the aphids in my growbox, but some plants outside of it still had aphids. Forgot that aphids can grow wings and fly away to other plants. I bought more lacewings and they have eaten most of the aphids.

However I would never use a neonicotinoid. The Swedish University of Agriculture released another study on the subject just 1 week ago. It confirmed that it hurts the wild bee population.
I know that you are just one person that wants your plants to live a happy life...
I've never had any problems with opening wine bottles. I do think that those automatic openers can be a great tool if you have limited movement in your arms/shoulders and can't use a regular opener.
Perhaps I'll get one when I'm older :)
Last year i grew bhuts, reapers and thai sun chili, I had 4 plants of each. My bhuts and reapers produced lots of flowers but they flowers didn't release any pollen.
Thai sun gave me lots of fruits.
All the plants where placed in the same grow box.
Thats really far north! Been thinking about going on a fishing trip to tromsö, but we haven''t done it yet. Hopefully we'll get there someday. Its quite a trip from stockholm.

sowed some marigolds as well, so that I can feed my adult lacewings :)
The store didn't have any marigolds yet, they said that they will start selling them in about 2 weeks. Bought some marigold seeds and 2 pelargonium just to have something while i wait.
Don't know if the lacewings will eat them or not, but its the only pollen that they can get.
