I've been using 72 cell trays for years but wanting to switch to smaller cell trays for space efficiency (starting 2000 seeds this year) and better moisture levels. The 72's just take too long to dry out in my cold climate and tried a few 200 cell trays last year and loved them. I asked a FB group dedicated to market gardening and out of ~150 comments the most commonly recommended sizes were 128 and 200. Leaning towards the 200 cell myself but curious of what other people prefer that have tried both?

well you'll only need 10 trays with the 200's
but that also means transplanting that much sooner

yeah leaning towards the 200's will take up less space in my house before needing to overflow into and kick on my greenhouse and save some $$$
