hot-sauce 2Hot Rocoto sauce

I was in the mood for a little experimenting and ordered a bottle of 2Hot Rocoto sauce. The first thing that struck me was that this sauce is made with no vinegar at all and claims to be made from 99% pure rocoto pulp. Very interesting earthy (almost like a fresh green bean) taste with some respectable heat. Not overwhelmingly hot, just a nice long glow. The flavor of the rocotos shines right through on this one and was a bit surprising at first. Good stuff and highly recommended to those that like rocoto peppers! :hell:
 
Sounds good, I'm anxious to try a rocoto. I have a few seedlings but we'll see if I get any pods the first year. xfings

I'll probably try to at least finish a few pods inside if I can and probably overwinter them for next year.
