60 strains 1 garten 🪴

Hello and welcome to the Grow!
The garden is in sunny Tampa Florida zone 10 a.

Some seedlings are growing, some just got planted and another twenty varieties were just ordered.

Mild to wild heat levels.
Common to less common genetics.

Most varieties will have a 10 gallon grow bag with roughly 7-8 gallons of custom mixed fast draining soil.

Nutrients will be
Happy Frog organic all purpose 6-4-5 for veg,
bone meal for flowering,
liquid fish and cal mag extreme at discretion.
Super thrive when stressing plants/ planting/ propagating.

Planning to stay as natural as I can with feeding.
I welcome to any insights you may have to organic fertilizers as I mainly have experience with synthetic fertilizers.

The chart is the garden layout. Squares equal 9 sq ft. Perimeter has random plants zucchini watermelon cucumber etc in ground,

the large empty rectangle is a vegetable garden which is about 1 1/2 months growing.

And down past that, started last year habanero and bell pepper plants in raised tire beds, pictures included, its the hangout spot for lizards and frogs..

I’ll add pictures showing the full garden at some point once its all green. 😁

Feel free to comment on placements, nutrients, specific treatment for the baccatum strains, cool cross ideas.
Or roast me like these peppers gonna be at the end of the year! 🤣

enemies of the garden-_- roscoe the pit bull, locust, caterpillars, florida weevils(they are actually kinda cool) june bugs- they just nibble a little, mole crickets if your unlucky, raccoons, opossums, and many others.

I dont know what those are to be honest.

In the last 3 seasons I have used a living organism to fight the bad guys from seed sprout throughout the season.
No Fungus gnats, no damp off, no sick plants I can't grow to maturity. What they have done against blights & fungal problems
on our fruit trees, grape vines & other vegetables is miraculous.

Thats pretty Cool stuff, thanks for the tip!
I will be ordering some momentarily. 😁

"Strains" hehehe

HI there, thanks for sharing your grow.
Great photos
Very interested to follow your grow log
I'm also growing peppers in Florida.

slightly off topic
sand propagation works amazingly for cuttings.
8-12” tub with play sand and perlite.
Very small 1/16” holes drilled in bottom and a row in the sides

These are mulberry cuttings from my grandma’s
orchard.

Roscoe P Coltrane the pit bull decided it was time to dig them up, maybe half were ready, planted 8, only two dead cuttings out of 30 maybe….

Good evening,
Few pictures to add.
We have peppers😃(orange habanero strain been growing for two years, great harvests, perfect heat when pickled to eat as a sweet treat)
Also same species all the plants in pictures, topped some for better form one is a propagated top branch.
A handful of random pepper seeds I couldn’t identify individually from the bottom of the kitchen drawer that I threw on top of the pile of compost, they are happy. Jalapeños habaneros different color bells serrano poblanos most likely.

Hello everyone,

Updates;
Round two plants are all growing well, 😎
Except my trinidad scorpions are stunted due to the containers I was using for them not draining well🤫.

Had roots showing through the pots on some plants so I went ahead and up potted everything that was getting a grow bag on Monday🪴.

The seeds from baker creek that I planted a week ago started popping up today. 😃

Will update again when we start getting some real growth.
