First year of really tring to get into this growing thing. Got a late start, but still hopeful for my long growing season here in Louisiana.
Might not be making pods, but making love.

On a side note, I did like most rookies and planted mostly super hots. After a sample box I'm now looking for less heat and more flavor for next year,lol.
I know this is a hard question but any opinions on this? Nothing over a hibanero in heat.

Fresh peppers will be in season soon. I recommend you try AJ's Aji Sampler box when they are available. http://www.peppersbymail.com/product/aji-a-sampler/ If you can't find something you like in that box, then there is just no hope for you. 
 
But OK, you probably want us to name some specific varieties. I think Brazilian Starfish, Aji Mango, Bahamian Goat and yellow Scotch Bonnets would all be great options for you to try.
 
And please, stop molesting the poor ladybugs. I mean, how would you feel if some leering perv was taking pictures while you were doing that?

I like the idea of the mixed boxes and the sites that break down the seeds in heat level categories.
I have plenty of time to read and hopefully score a couple mixed boxes to try. Who knows, in couple more seasons I might know what I like best to utilize my space.

I'd try a sampler box. Sugar rush peach are hot but are still considered a "snacking" pepper. They've produced well for us in humid coastal Georgia so I think the climate will work for you.

Looks like a juvenile/nymph Milkweed Assassin Bug to me. They are awesome predators in the garden. Shame that they eat ladybugs, too, but they eat all the shitty bugs too...

Sounds right, they aren't on my peppers but on my wife's (I think Milkweed plant) plants for the Monarch Butterflies.

Im wainting to hear back from a grower with mixed boxes for him to have Sugar Rush to put in it. Seems the sugar rush is pretty popularly. High on my list.
