A Pruning Question

I hava pruning question here.

My choc hab has grown back wonderfully since the leaf-drop episode in Oct., but I just realized that in doing so, it's split itself into 3 stalks. Yikes.

There's the main original stem, and two new side shoots which are growing at a massive rate. Good stuff, but will it choke itself that way...or worse, break off?

Also, the Bih Jolokia on the far right seems to be very spindly and small-leaved. I've been having to pinch it off alot or it'd be taking over. ;)

It too has new growth starting from the bottom and sides and seems healthy, but sure seems different.

Is that normal?

The Bih is about 14" tall, and the choc hab is around 18". (I've been trying to keep them from being too tall)

These are all 2nd yr. plants btw. The two on the right just weren't topped off like the others.

Thx,

QS

Yeah some peppers are just more branching than others. My tabasco for instance last year did the same thing. The two bottom branches that shot up ended up growing another foot or so taller than the main stem and producing tons.
