I grew all my pepper plants from seed and of course selected what looked to be the strongest plants to transplant to my garden or patio pots.
Well, there were a few left over in 4" pots that sat around on the patio and got enough water not to die. In early July a Corno de Toro was about 10" tall and a Sandia about 7" - the Corno had a couple blossoms.
I felt sorry for them and we were going to be on vacation the 3rd week of July so I planted them before we left. The Sadia went in a low 12" plastic pot and the Corno in a Walmart bag.
This isn't meant to be a comparison of these two plants as they are different species, planted at different sizes and in different containers - only thing the same was the soil.
However, I find the growth of the Carno to be rather impressive.
