Age Test

Friend of mine posted this on his Facebook. So....

What is it?

I liked the floor switch better, no accidental brighting when turning on the wipers or blinkers plus you could have your foot ready to bright back as soon as the other car came over the hill

Funny.
Bought an older "Hippy Van" and damned near broke the turn signal lever trying to get the bugger to go bright.

Another age test:

How long did it take to remember where the switch was?

hate to admit that I knew what it was.

 at ^^^ gotrox!

Haha!! Reminds me of the "dumb blonde" joke,,the cop pulled her over and her foot was hiked up to the steering column,,,"tryin to find the dimmer"!!

Way Back when I learned to drive; jeeps, trucks, cars and tractors all had the starter switches mounted on the floor.
That was in the day of 6V electrical systems.

I'm not really old, I had a 1975 Dodge Dart (forest green to me, puke green to all my friends) in 1985. The rest of you are a bunch of oldies though :-p

I wish I still had the first foot dimmer switch I owned - it was attached to a '68 Barracuda Fastback.

It looked like this but a little darker green.  Had Barracuda wheel covers.  I still have them in the basement.
