drying-smoking Air fryer as dehydrator?

So I got my new air fryer delivered today and I was wondering if anyone uses these as a dehydrator? Seems like it would work but the temerature settings ate from 180 to 390 which seems a little high.. This is the one I bought.
 
I figured. I've seen mention online of people using them as dehydrators but maybe there are models that can go lower on the temperature.
 
Beef jerky can go higher than fruit and veg but still, that would cook it.
 
Maybe there's hacks, like, leaving the lid open etc.
 
If you have a candy or meat thermometer stick it in there and leave the lid open. If it pegs 130-140, good to go.
