Anyone have seeds that have purple pods. Flowering. I already have pretty in purple. But was wondering if anyone had spare explosive embers or purple jals or serranos?! Pm me.

I have regular scotch bonnets... I can toss some of those in an envelope. But alas no purple ones... You could cross SB Yellow with Purple something else (bhut maybe?) that could be fun.

I have a strange little purple one...
I can't seem to take a picture that does it justice...
The whole plant is almost a black/purple color, purple flowers, and a extra thin, extra short cayenne type pepper, that is also purple.
No IDEA what it is... Just that I like it

That is freakin awsome!!!! Nice link! That was a question that has been lingering in my mind for awhile now. Now i think that i will try it on a few plants. I want to cross Purple Jalapeno's with Peter peppers to make purple peters, or atleast that is the game plan.
I've got lots of different purple crosses in the works, and its a tonne of work growing out dozens, or even hundreds of plants with many of them being duds and doing this for 8+ years.
Everybody seems to want to cross peter peppers but to be honest they rarely look like Peters and to me they taste like dirt. Trying to make a cross that looks more like a Peter is going to be very difficult, and even harder to make it taste good.

I have a question about cross breeding peppers. Can you cross peppers, and lets say, tomatoes or bell peppers? I wonder if you can get a spicy tomato?
Rumor has it there is a spicy tomato coming out through PuckerButt later in the year perhaps...
